Ryan Patrick Murphy , born November 9, 1965 , is an American television writer, director, and producer. He has created and produced numerous television series.
Murphy will leave Netflix at the end of his five-year, and will make a new home at Disney. His Netflix deal doesn’t expire until the end of the month.
He famously left 20th in 2018 for a $300 million deal at Netflix, and now Murphy will continue producing installments of Netflix hits Monster, while making Disney his creative home. The move will reunite him with Dana Walden, who is now Co-Chairman of Disney Entertainment.
